It is never too soon to prepare for Christmas! This year I am gonna design a collection of Christmas ornaments free patterns. The first one in the series is this little Kawaii Mitten. It is just 9cm but way too cute, you can decorate for your Christmas tree, use as indoor Christmas decorations on the table or even use it as a keychain, bag charm. I would be super happy if I received any Christmas gift like this as well.
As with my other amigurumi designs, I have tried my best to create no-sew or little-sew crochet amigurumi, this little mitten crochet ornament free pattern is another no-sew amigurumi tutorial. Yeahhhh!

Materials and tools
- DK yarn in red and white (I used 1mm cotton yarn with double strands – learn how to crochet with multiple strands from a yarn ball here)
- 2.5mm hook
- 7mm safety eyes
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Polypill stuffing
- Stitch marker

Abbreviations (Symbols- US term)
You might not use all the abbreviations in the amigurumi crochet pattern but I still want to show you all just to refer. They are all easy to remember and follow.
MR: magic ring
CH: chain
X – sc: Single crochet
T -hdc: half double crochet
F – dc: double crochet
E – tr: Triple crochet
V – inc: Increase (make 2 stitches in 1 stitch)
W – 3 sts in same st: (make 3 stitches in 1 stitch)
A – dec: Decrease (make 1 stitch from 2 stitches)
M – make 1st from 3sts: Decrease (make 1 stitch from 3 stitches)
TV, FV, EV – hdcinc, dcinc, trinc: Increase with half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet
TA, FA, EA – hdcdec, dcdec, trdec: Decrease with half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet
BLO: Back loop only
FLO: Front loop only
SS – ss: slip stitch
FO: Fasten off
St/Sts: Stitch/Stitches

FINISHING
I know that sewing tasks are always a paint point of any amigurumi maker. Trust me, me too! That’s why in this pattern you do not need to sew anything except for embroidering the face.
