Who is Shooky BT21?
Yeah, we are talking about Shooky Kpop BTS BT21 Doll Crochet Amigurumi Free pattern here. But who is Shooky and who are BT21 characters? In each post of the BT21 character crochet free pattern, I will mention that character so you are gonna have an idea about who they are.
You might have seen these cute little characters in your free sticker options in messaging apps like LINE or Facebook. Well, they are BT21 – created by global Kpop icons BTS.
The characters were born back in late September 2017, when BTS joined LINE Friends’ Creators initiative, a project where the brand work with global artists on characters and product ideas.
UNIVERSTAR BT21 is the fictional world of the BT21 characters, family, and friends, following the story:
Hailing from Planet BT, Prince TATA dreams to spread love across the galaxy. Deciding that destiny is at hand, TATA summons guardian robot VAN to prepare for an interstellar journey to Earth. Shortly after arrival, the Prince concludes that the most effective means to win over the hearts of earthlings is to become a super, no… something much more ambitious. A UNIVERSTAR. Realizing that a collective effort is crucial, TATA & VAN scout for like-minded hopefuls to share in the dream. - DK yarn in brown, white and black
- 2.5mm hook
- 10mm safety eyes
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Polyfill
- Stitch marker
Abbreviations (Symbols- US term)
You might not use all the abbreviations in the amigurumi crochet pattern but I still want to show you all just to refer. They are all easy to remember and follow.
MR: magic ring
CH: chain
X – sc: Single crochet
T -hdc: half double crochet
F – dc: double crochet
E – tr: Triple crochet
V – inc: Increase (make 2 stitches in 1 stitch)
W – 3 sts in same st: (make 3 stitches in 1 stitch)
A – dec: Decrease (make 1 stitch from 2 stitches)
M – make 1st from 3sts: Decrease (make 1 stitch from 3 stitches)
TV, FV, EV – hdcinc, dcinc, trinc: Increase with half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet
TA, FA, EA – hdcdec, dcdec, trdec: Decrease with half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet
BLO: Back loop only
FLO: Front loop only
SS – ss: slip stitch
FO: Fasten off
St/Sts: Stitch/Stitches

Sew mouth 2 sts below the eyes. Embroider the white teeth to the last row of mouth (6 sts from the left edge), 3 sts width.
Sew arms to the body, and the upper side of the arms are even to MR.
Sew legs to the body.
